Morello Patisserie

If you have ever been to Morello it is unlikely you will go anywhere else when looking for a cake. If you have never been you need to go - it is an experience.  Owned by George Thrasivoulides, the firm has been built upon outstanding Service and a solid reputation. Now a long established business the clientelle not only comes from Paphos but customers travel from many miles; then again, people generally do when they can rely on the product at the other end.

When you step inside you don't know where to look first. There is just so much to choose from and everything is displayed so eloquently. Beautiful creations of all types can be found on all sides; traditional large cakes to beautifully individually wrapped small creations tempt you further. As you look at the attention to detail that goes into George's work you can picture yourself unraveling the wrappers and tasting whats inside.

The staff are very friendly and all the cakes are made from scratch on the premises so you know what to expect. As well as a local following, Morello can now be found in the "Guinness Book of World Records" for making the longest Christmas Cake in the World on the 1st January 2000 measuring in at 114 m long, 0.45 wide and weighed 1900 kg.

The morello patisserie was founded in may 1991. It was the first patisserie shop in Pafos to offer an all round catering service for both sweet and savoury food. Their policy slogan reads: “All in one place and to meet any need.” Morello’s highly creative approach is the result of their skill, many years experience and their dedication to ensuring that their products are pleasing to look at as well as to taste.
